He is also a stern and strict instructor at Autobot camp.For example After disregarding Ultra Magnus' orders of organic planets being off-limits, he dragged Optimus Prime and Elita-1 to the Archa Seven, an organic planet, in a search for a Decepticon warship filled with Energon cubes, and then after not being able to have time to rescue Elita, whom was then later turned into Blackarachnia, accused Optimus for leaving her behind, despite HIM being the cause of all of it, which made Optimus take the blame, causing him to be expelled from the Elite Guard. He gets other Autobots into trouble by blaming them for his own actions.He is arrogant, cocky, vain, bossy, stubborn, impatient, short-tempered, narcissistic, sometimes idiotic, immature at times, very cruel, disrespectful, cold-hearted, mean-spirited, disobedient and down right unlikable and unsympathetic.It gets interesting when things are set outside earth. I look forward to more episodes expanding the history. Great episode overall, filling out the backstory made it one of the best to date. I'm guessing he may have dropped the soap. That has the makings for a fun story to cover at a later date, or possibly in one of the comics(Wasp in the big house mightn't be the most kid-friendly cartoon network-type stuff). And I enjoyed his Gollum-like transformation at the end. They so gotta immortalize that in plastic(Cybertron form please). I always like the idea of transforming heads, and the extendable limbs could be a fun gimmick.īulkhead and Sentinel Prime's Alt modes were pretty good, though I don't much care whether they do toys of those or not.īut Wasp was truly awesome here. Might make for an interesting toy though. Boring bot mode, and his alt mode looked like the typical spacey/futurey big abstract pile of nothing. Longarm, I didn't much care for his design. Might be good for a Rodimus Prime repaint(nevermind the obligatory Ratchet).
I hope they do his toy in Cybertronian form. Would've been nice if he'd been referred to by name, or had a line. It was great to see Cliffjumper get a cameo. Nonetheless, his and Wasp's car modes were pretty awesome. His shoulders/arms seemed wide and saucer shaped to me. I was a little disappointed that Cybertron Bumblebee didn't have the G1 saucer mode, like I'd been predicting. The reveal was no big surprise, I had that one spoiled for me anyway, but it was pretty obvious who the spy was, watching the episode.

I loved the episode so much, I made tons of screencaps - all full of "cybertrony goodness" as Sentinel Minor, erm Prime would say!Įxcellent episode! I rate it 7.5 out of 10. Ironhide was good to see, as well as Cliffjumper. man, I can't believe even BB now has a nemesis! Wonder why the color and optics change, though. He might have been an even more obnoxious version of BB, but he didn't deserve what he got. I loved the way he manipulated poor BB - who was all up to expose his enemy as a spy and get promoted to the Elite Guard - Shocky was not really emotional, but really knew what strings he had to pull.Īnd he's pretty unemotional, or he can really play with his voice, 'cause - watch it - when BB tells him he suspects a spy, he asks him 'who do you think it is' without blinking (granted, those aren't his actual eyes.)
He's the freaking head of the Autobot Intelligence Agency!!! As Longarm PRIME!!! Man he's good. Man, not only did Shockwave remain undercover for more then 50 years.
